San Diego

Well I got back from San Diego on Sunday, and it was a blast. We went on a little bay tour a few hours after I got there (I got there 2 days later than my sisters because I had to give blood), and it was really interesting. We had a dozen military helicopters flying over us during the tour, as well as an F-15 fighter jet (man, those things are LOUD!). I didn't realize what a huge presence the US Navy has there, there were rows and rows of ships. On the one hand, I thought it looked really cool because you could see all the guns, jets, and rocket launchers ready to go at a moments notice. But then I wondered how many of them were really necessary. How much of that money could've gone towards schools? Hospitals? Oh well, I don't know enough about the situation to be criticizing it.

We also went to Seaworld, where I got to use an electric wheelchair, which was great! Although it could've used a turbo (not really, it was fast enough already).

We also went to go see other sites, as well as Coranado and La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya). It was a lot of fun, but the best part was getting to see my dad again.
