The Music of Game ads

I've noticed a trend that may be starting when it comes to advertising video games. If the game is violent in nature, the game companies will put relaxing music with the game. I think the reasoning behind this is to draw more emotion regarding the character/people involved in the games environment. I can't really find any other examples at the moment, but I think I much prefer that type of advertising as opposed to something like this:

That ad reminds me of the cliche "Man loses family/child/someone special and goes on a holy crusade with tons of weaponry while taking out half a city" 80s movie. They could have done so much more with that storyline....
